Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Spend the day exploring the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swayambhunath Stupa. Enjoy the local markets and try traditional Nepali cuisine. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing:
Take a full-day tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit the ancient city of Bhaktapur, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and historic Durbar Square. Explore the city of Patan and its Durbar Square, showcasing beautiful Newari architecture and intricate wood carvings. Visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can see the Kumari (Living Goddess) and numerous temples. Return to Kathmandu in the evening. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Pokhara:
Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara (approximately a 6-hour drive or a short flight). Check-in at your hotel in Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake and take in the stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range. Visit the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa offering panoramic views of Pokhara and the surrounding mountains. Explore the vibrant Lakeside area, known for its shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 4: Sarangkot Sunrise and Pokhara Sightseeing:
Wake up early and drive to Sarangkot, a popular viewpoint near Pokhara, to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Return to Pokhara and visit the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, known for its natural stalagmites and a beautiful waterfall. Explore the International Mountain Museum, which provides insights into Nepal's mountainous regions and mountaineering history. Take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside and relax in the serene ambiance of Pokhara. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 5: Departure:
After breakfast, depart from Pokhara and head back to Kathmandu. If time permits, you can visit the Manakamana Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site located on a hilltop. Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
Hotel: You can consider staying at Hotel Shanker or Hotel Mulberry in Kathmandu for your last night.
