DAY 01 SRINAGAR ARRIVAL
Arrive Srinagar the summer capital of Kashmir situated at 5200 ft above sea level in the Himalayan Mountains,on arrival at Srinagar airport meet and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats, which are anchored on famous Dal Lake,After noon: Shikara cruise on Dal lake in Shikara (local Gondola) visiting Floating gardens, lotus gardens,vegetable gardens (Summer) back waters of the lake and cruise will go through canals, Dinner and overnight stay in Houseboat.
DAY 02 SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM (90 Kms /3 Hrs)
After drive to Pahalgam which is the most beautiful drive 96kms one way enroute visit Saffron fields ,
Awantipora Temple this was 9th century Capital of Kashmir , Cricket bat factories . We stop at many beautiful spots for photoshots and continue drive to Pahalgam (The Valley of Shepherds) also visit Mattan temple with holy Fishes , and rafting view point .Continue drive to pahalgam along the shimmering stream of Lidder river flowing from high mountains, enjoy ( optional ) pony ride to baisaran kashmir valley.later drive back to srinagar Dinner and overnight stay in houseboat .
DAY 03 SRINAGAR – KARGIL (270 Kms /8 Hrs)
Morning After breakfast leave for Kargil, 204 km via Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold),have a stop and a
nice picture of the area with snow peak mountains. proceed to Kargil via Zojila pass 10,500 ft and Drass
Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitated place in the World) Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous
Peaks (Tiger Hill, Tololing) pay a visit to Vijay Smarak a place to pay a tribute to soldiers who laid their lives forus in Kargil War in 1999, reach Kargil hotel by evening. Overnight stay in Kargil. ( Kargil is 2nd largest town of Ladakh )
DAY 04 SRINAGAR – SONMARG (90 Kms /3 Hrs)
After breakfast, we leave for Leh (230 km), Enroute visit Mulbekh and Lamayuru Monasteries, Mulbekh this is high image of Maitreya the future Buddha about 1400 years old built on huge rock, proceed to Lamayuru crossing Namikala pass (3737 m)and Fotula(4294 m),the highest point on Srinagar Leh road. After visiting lamayuru monastery , proceed to Leh via khalsi stop for tea / coffee . After drive goes along bankof indus river , stop at sangam ,the conflict of 2 major rivers indus and zanskar and magnetic hill . on reaching leh check in hotel Leh altitude which is 3550 meters . Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.After breakfast, Check out from the hotel & visit local sightseeing – Shalimar Bagh Mughal Gardens, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Shankaracharya temple etc. Then proceed to Sonmarg. Hotel Check inn and Overnight stay in Sonmarg.
DAY 05 SONMARG – KARGIL (130 Kms /3.30 Hrs) : Morning After breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting
Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitated place in the World) Enroute
have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger Hill, Tololing) pay a visitto Vijay Smarak a place to pay a tribute to soldier who laid their lives for us in Kargil War in 1999, reach Kargil hotel byevening. Overnight stay in Kargil.
DAY 06 KARGIL – ULEY/ALCHI - LEH ( 270 Kms /3 Hrs) : Morning after Breakfast leave for Uley, enroute
visit Mulbek a giant Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru, the oldest Monastery ofLadakh and have a magnificent view of spectacular view of Moonlandscape. Evening transfer to Leh hotel. Hotel Check inn and overnight stay.
DAY 07 LEH - NUBRA VALLEY (160 Kms /5 Hrs) :
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla
(Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by Afternoon. Rest of the day, Post lunch free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight stay in hotel.
DAY 08 NUBRA – PANGONG LAKE (280 Kms /8 Hrs) :
After Breakfast leave for Pangong,.,m,Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.(third Highest Motorable road in the world) Spend wholetime at the banks of Pangong Lake. Overnight stay in Hotel.
DAY 09 PANGONG lAKE – LEH (250 Kms /6 Hrs) : After Breakfast drive back to Leh, enroutevisit Hemis, ThikseMonastery and Shey Palace. Overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 10 LEH : After breakfast check out from the hotel, transfer to Leh airport to board flightback to
destination. Journey Ends
